Inspiration

Writer's, artists, and innovators alike have things that inspire their great works. A muse, a phrase, a painting; it can come from anywhere. It is now my usual time to sit down and finally have time to do some writing. My daughter is in bed, the house is quiet, and I just kissed my wife good night. I am now sitting and listening to the music that seems to inspire me the most when I hear them, but the true inspiration for tonight I would have to credit to my wife. As I wished her sweet dreams, since she could not wish me the same at the time instead she chose to tell me 'go write me a best seller'. Now I don't know if anyone will even be interested in reading any of the stories that I have in my head. Especially since they have to travel from my mind and come out in words in some convoluted form. Even still, having someone telling me that and knowing that she believes in me inspires me the most above anything and makes me keep doing that which I do.
So, here is my message to all of the artisans of the world, whether they be a painter, sculptor, writer, or even in inventor or scientist. I say go, and take that which inspires you every day no matter the source or how big or small and create beautiful things, because I would hate to think of a world without those who are inspired.
